E-Safety Advice

It is really important that our children are safe online.

At St. Chad’s, E-Safety is an important part of keeping children safe. We have a secure monitoring system in school which safeguards pupils from potential dangers, and unsuitable material. In addition, E-safety forms an important part of the Computing Curriculum and is taught regularly in lessons. E-safety is further highlighted throughout the year in designated E-safety days such as SID (Safer Internet Day).

The internet is still an amazing place for children to: learn, create, connect, explore and have fun! As a parent or carer, you play a key role in helping your child to stay safe online. You don’t need to be an expert on the Internet to help keep your child stay safe online. Being aware, and talking to your child about being safe on-line, is the way forward.
