As a parent or family friend of a pupil at St. Chad’s you are automatically a member of the PFA. We hope this will encourage you to support our activities in any way you can to raise money to benefit the children at the school.
We are an active group, organising a range of events for the whole school community throughout the academic year. This ranges from providing refreshments at open evenings, sports days, new starters sessions etc to the Christmas and Summer fayres, quiz/bingo nights, fashion shows, ladies pamper evenings . . . new ideas are always welcome!
We also organise the sale of Christmas cards designed by your child at school and sell second-hand uniform (donations of items with the school logo always appreciated).
Last year we raised a whopping £3300 !!!
Thank you for your help and support we definitely couldn’t do it with out you.
Our next Project is a sensory garden for the children to reflect and to relax in, are you able to help or work for a business that can help with supplying equipment or knowledge?
If you would like to make suggestions, offer help or ask any questions, catch any of the committee or helpers at the school gates or at events, leave a note in the box at main reception or drop us an e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
And did you know that . . .
"When parents are involved in their children’s education at home, they do better in school. And when parents are involved in school, children go further in school and the schools they go to are better"(taken from A New Generation of Evidence: The Family is Critical to Student Achievement.
